All Crafted Crochet patterns are written using US crochet terminology. Use this glossary as a quick reference for the abbreviations you'll see throughout our patterns.

| ( ) | work all instructions inside parentheses into the same stitch |
A Note on Gauge
Gauge is listed at the top of every pattern. Since tension varies from maker to maker, we always recommend crocheting a small swatch first, especially for wearables and fitted items, to make sure your finished piece matches the pattern's measurements.
