Liquid Yarn Studio is where every Crafted Crochet pattern takes shape — part design lab, part test kitchen. It's the behind-the-scenes home of our creative process, from the first sketch of an idea to the finished, photographed pattern in your download library.

How a Pattern Is Made

• Sketch & Swatch: Every design starts as a rough sketch and a handful of test swatches to get gauge and proportions right.
• Stitch & Test: A full sample is crocheted from our own written draft, so we catch mistakes before you ever see them.
• Independent Testing: Select patterns are tested by makers outside our studio to make sure the instructions read clearly to fresh eyes.
• Photograph & Publish: The finished piece is photographed in natural light and formatted into your instant-download PDF.

Masterclass Videos

Many of our patterns include a companion masterclass video, filmed right here in the studio. These videos walk through the trickiest parts of a pattern — special stitches, shaping, or finishing techniques — so you always have a second way to learn alongside the written pattern.
